James Harden played an incredible game, but that did not save Houston from a 131:135 loss when visiting Washington. The Rockets Guard made an unconventional triple-double - 54 points, 13 assists and 11 mistakes, to which he added 8 rebounds and 3 balls, and yet Texas did not manage to deal with Wizards, retreating after a sequel.
Harden shoots 17/32 from the game (7/15 of the trophy) and 13/15 from the penalty line. He becomes the tenth player in the history of the NBA who has 50 or more points in at least 10 career matches. Since 1973, only No.13 in Houston has achieved at least 50 points and 13 assists in a match. But the detail here is that Harden did this for the fourth time since he was a professional.
Eric Gordon was also at the loss for the lost team - 36 points (8/16 of the three), both scored 15 out of 18 threes for his team.
The Guardian duo also repulsed as John Wall scored 36 points and gave 11 assists, and Bradley Beal added 32 points and 4 assists. They received support from Markieff Morris (22 points and 10 rebounds), Otto Porter Jr. (14 points), and Jeff Green (13 points).
The Wizards have come to an impressive turn, having allowed 42 points in the first quarter, but then found a way to get into the rhythm and reach the win. The Texas guests were short-rotation, Anthony playing for more than 15 minutes, and all of the starting five for at least 31 minutes, with Harden and Gordon holding 47 and 43 minutes respectively. For Washington, this was the eighth victory in twenty matches from
topsoccerpredictions while Houston scored his tenth defeat in nineteen matches.
