The Roma coach Eusebio Di Francesco could not be especially happy after losing 1:4 in the first match with Barcelona in the 1/4-final in the Champions League. He said the Catalans are a strong enough team that does not need extra help to win. The coach believes that the rival has received help from both the referee who has not scored a penalty for his team and his own players who scored two goals and made simple mistakes.
`Barcelona is a very strong team that does not need any extra help. This evening they received help from us and the referee. We showed a good game by
soccer odds tonight, but we made some serious mistakes and we can not look for guilt elsewhere. I can not complain about the rage and the character because we managed to find ourselves, even though we lost 0:3. I wanted to see more balance in our game, because in a clash lasting 180 minutes it was important to be close to the rival. The result is very unpleasant in view of our performance and the opponent`s class. At times we were too slow and too naive. We approached the game well, but we had to be more precise in our actions in certain situations!`, said Di Francesco.
