Football coach Miroslav Blazevic has died.
The specialist passed away two days before his 88th birthday. Since 2011, he has been battling prostate cancer.
Blazevic is best known for his work with the Croatian national team. He led the team from 1994 to 2000, and in 1998 he took bronze at the World Championships.
The coach also worked in the national teams of Switzerland, Iran and Bosnia and Herzegovina, and headed such clubs as Sion, PAOK, Nantes, Dinamo Zagreb and Hajduk. Among his achievements are 2 championships predictions by
