Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton addressed the team and thanked them for their efforts last season. The season was not very successful for Mercedes, but in the end the team was able to win the race in Brazil, making a double, and finished third in the Constructors` Championship.
I am extremely proud of each of you - for the fact that you all did not give up and continued to move forward. Because with everything we`ve been through this year, each of us could easily give up and stop fighting. But this did not happen, I did not see this in a single person.
